Your media and projects
ORBIT is a browser-based music visualizer at orbitmv.com. You do not need an account. Audio, images, video clips, project text and exported videos are processed on your device. The editor does not upload these files or project contents to our servers.
If you choose to email us a file or screenshot, it becomes part of your support message and is handled separately as described below.
Browser storage and backups
The editor saves its current recovery project, settings and referenced media in this browser using IndexedDB. This copy is tied to the browser profile and site address you used; it is not a cloud backup and does not sync between devices.
It remains until replaced by another saved project, removed by you, or cleared by the browser. To remove it, close ORBIT tabs and clear site data for orbitmv.com in your browser settings. Save a .mviz backup first if you want to keep your work. Downloaded project and video files remain wherever you saved them and must be deleted separately.
We cannot retrieve or remotely delete files stored only on your device.
Website delivery and security
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Website requests may involve technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request timing. Cloudflare processes request information to deliver the site and protect its infrastructure. This is separate from the media processed locally by the editor.

Support messages
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, any name you provide, and the message and attachments you send. We use this information to respond to your request, investigate reported problems and handle privacy or rights inquiries.
Cloudflare Email Routing forwards these messages to our Gmail inbox, provided by Google. Unlike media opened in the editor, emailed attachments are sent to these services. Send only what is needed for your request, and do not include passwords or sensitive personal information.

Support message retention
We keep support messages and their attachments for six months after the inquiry is closed, then delete them from our support inbox. Email providers may retain backup copies according to their own retention policies.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The ORBIT application does not currently include advertising scripts or third-party analytics trackers. Its recovery storage is used to keep your project available in this browser, not for advertising. Hosting and security services may use technical storage or cookies when needed to deliver or protect the site.
If we introduce advertising, analytics or other services that change how information is handled, we will update this policy and provide any required choices before enabling them.
Your choices and requests
You can stop using the editor, remove its browser data, delete downloaded files, or contact us about information you have sent by email. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its use, or complain to a data protection authority.
Send privacy requests to [email protected]. We may need enough information to identify your correspondence before acting on a request. Do not send identity documents unless specifically needed and requested.
